    Cocoa is a friendly outgoing dog that has been at our shelter since the spring of 2009. She was originally a stray and then returned for not getting along with the other animals in the home. Several people associated with the Center for Animal Health & Welfare have taken a liking to Cocoa; she was given attention and training through our 'One by One' program and continues to receive training from some dedicated volunteers. Cocoa knows how to sit, walks nicely with her leader style collar, and is very food-motivated. She loves to play and sit by your side. Cocoa demonstrates excellent focus; she thrives when given human attention and ... (Read More)interaction. She is attentive and affectionate. Cocoa is a low energy dog that would love to relax in a single animal home with a fenced yard. She loves belly rubs, giving kisses, and soaking in the sun. Her adoption will require a home visit.
